Grant steering wheel ring installation

Joined: Mar 29, Posts: Profile Page. Make sure the horn button is pressed straight on the ring. I also had to rtatae the button around the ring to get it to sit right.

Almost every grant horn kit i've ever had Patience my freind!!! Joined: Mar 2, Posts: 1, Profile Page. I figured out mine after many tries. The button has 3 little indents around the edge that are supposed to catch between the 2 layers of the other piece. But when you push it both pieces move and don't catch. So, when I held the button in place, I took a flat head and slipped it under the back piece at each indent to hold it away from the wheel giving it the room to snap together.

The horn button is still a problem. However, I did talk to an engineer at grant that was helpful. If you talk to anyone at Grant make sure its the engineer.

Must have stayed on about 3 months after I applied some silicon to the horn, pressed it on over the base and taped it down overnight.
