Aspen coil warranty pdf
Just try to keep an eye on the installers and make sure they are doing a good job and you should be fine. Make sure someone registers your product and get a printed copy as that model has a very good warranty on the compressor. The Furnace probably has an equally impressive warranty. California and Quebec residents do not need to register their products to receive the full manufacture warranty Your state may have rebates also.
Yes Aspen! Aspen coil instead of Goodman Changing title to Aspen. Does anyone know if Goodman will cover labor on the Aspen coil under the extended labor warranty if I purchase that insurance? First thing in AM. After my coffee. JeffWil liked this post. Gotta be copper oxide scale, or poor brazing practices. But then again, several have been in package units. Hard to blame the installer for that one. Oh no definitely not only the installers. I have had a few in package units too. Poor mfg more than likely. But that's why the mfg loves to say haha, but interesting idea on the bulk coils, wouldn't be surprised, I've noticed the oxidation is occurring rediculously fast on the coils compared to older could.
All the evap coils leak and apparently no one can build a txv worth crap anymore. I get why the coils leak, I just don't understand the txv's. How much does a manufacturer save by building them out of duct tape and bubblegum versus the warranty cost. Must come out a head because they have all traded their formerly good names to be king of the bottom of the pile.
I'd request all the coils to put their txv''s outside the case or in a very easy spot to get to in package units if they are only going to last that long. We are back to mechanical fittings on these because of how much they suck now!
Been a long week, I'll hand off the soapbox to who''s ever next. It's the state of our corporate scrum. They want their products to fail because it keeps the value of their company high. They could care care less about working man.
Thread: Aspen Coil instead of Goodman. Thread Tools Show Printable Version. Aspen Coil instead of Goodman I am in the process of having a new home built an expected to have a total Goodman system installed: a DSZC heat pump, a 2 stage variable speed 60Kbtu propane furnace and a horizontal goodman coil.
Alpine and Goodman So is there really a shortage of Goodman coils? And is Alpine a good choice? Yes there is a shortage of Goodman coils. The word is that they are building a new factory, but they shut down the currant one before the new one was running.
They supposedly tried to stockpile a bunch of coils from their old factory to prepare for this, but I think somebody messed up on their math. Alpine should be a good enough replacement. You can't be picky, especially when you decided to go with Goodman in the first place. I'm just kidding, Goodman makes good stuff.
