9v to 6v converter
A heat sink is should be there to dissipate extra potential difference in the form of heat via the Heat-Sink. The presence of heatsink is a must otherwise it will destroy the IC and IC will exhaust.
The input voltage should be at least 1. This the formula for the output voltage of 9v to 5v converter using LM It gives approx required output when R1 and R2 are chosen to satisfy the formula.
Put any standard value of anyone resistor above ohms but a higher value is recommended , also put the value of required output voltage in the above formula and then find the value of another resistor. The current value described in the article is for reference only, as the value of current depends on the load resistance. Blog , Circuits. Just to comment something, I love that blue led and I'd have taken it to the front of the tester with two wires and a suitable hole just to make the meter more intriguing and appealling! I don't have power banks lying around but I have some old lithium batteries, and a bunch of adjustable buck converters that can do the trick.
Thanks for the idea!! Reply 5 months ago. Yeah sure, you can use the buck converters as long as you remember to provide voltage cut-off when the batery is too low but as far as i can tell the powerbank is the easyest way to get the battery properly charged and discharged. Yeah, and remember to never ever ever test anything while it's charging else you might break your multimeter. Thanks for the tips!! Yep, I agree. After a thought, I realized that a powerbank is best than buck converters for this purpose.
I suggest an instructable about how to salvage the BMS from the laptops' battery packs in order to use them in a project like this even if the output voltage is not 9v. Definitively, this instructable deserves more "Favorited's"!! Reply 2 years ago.
